Change and Action

"Then the Lord says, why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving!"  Exodus 14:15. When I read this verse 2 things stuck out for me: Change and Action.
Change: This verse is right where the Israelites are trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh's army. At this point they are freaking out and mad at Moses for leading them to their 'death'. They 'knew' they should have just stayed Pharaoh's slaves because at least they would be alive.
I know for me this has happened many times through out my life. I'm not happy where I am, and something doesn't feel quite right so I decide to change things up. Often times after I've made the decision to change, things go horribly wrong. I regret ever trying to get out of my comfort zone, but I can't go back to where I was, so I have to keep moving forward. Eventually the things that I thought were horrible turn out to be just what needed to happen.
Sometimes when change is enforced things get chaotic. Through the chaos though, they always have a way of working out. They say change is a good thing, but if that's the case then why do we fight it? Shouldn't we embrace it?  Change, for many people, is a scary but necessary thing in life because if nothing ever changed then nothing would ever happen.
Action: God will make a way for us but he cant make us move our feet. Often times we feel like we are stuck, but are we really? When we finally make that change and start moving our feet we find that it wasn't as bad or as hard as we thought. So my question is: What are we doing in our lives' right now? What path has God set out for us that we are not taking? Is God telling us to get up and get moving?
Until Next Time,
~Dawn~
